The Furukawa Festival, held in Furukawa-cho, Hida City, deep in the mountains of Gifu Prefecture, is a traditional Shinto ritual which has been designated as a “National Important Intangible Folk-Cultural Property”. The festival, to be held through 14th and 15th of April in 2023, is made up of 3 major events and is a magnificent sight to behold, taking you back through the pages of history.

The Hida-Takayama area is a very popular tourist destination. Rich in history, and set against a backdrop of raw natural beauty, it is the perfect location for not only a memorable wedding, but so much to see and experience with your family, friends and other guests after the ceremony as well!
