The Furukawa Festival, held in Furukawa-cho, Hida City, deep in the mountains of Gifu Prefecture, is a traditional Shinto ritual which has been designated as a “National Important Intangible Folk-Cultural Property”. The festival, to be held through 14th and 15th of April in 2023, is made up of 3 major events and is a magnificent sight to behold, taking you back through the pages of history.
