Ann and Frank will get married in November 2023, but prior to the Big Day, they went through the formalities at the municipality office in Tokyo and were legally married.
The Paperwork procedure was somehow complicated, because one lives in a different country. Even though they were of the same nationality, each had to prepare different documents. They had to submit the documents issued by the authorities of their original country and handed them to the Embassy in Japan. The Town Hall requires all documents with apostille and translation, we have been contacted many times and finally approved their marriage.
Sometimes it takes several months to prepare all the documents and it is a hard task for couples, but it should be great and memorable as well.
